Chicano tattoos – a style that grew out of the backs of Latino street gangs in the USA.
Its beginnings are linked to Mexican gangs whose members popularized motifs like beautiful women, money, luxury cars, firearms, and casinos. These elements are present in the lives of many gangsters who, wanting to highlight their interests in wealth and carefree living, tattoo themselves in this way. The most characteristic Chicano tattoos feature sexy women with clown-like makeup, all done in black and gray shades. This style has since left the criminal underworld and is gaining popularity among ordinary people. Check out the Chicano designs in our photo gallery and feel the atmosphere of Latino gangs from the dark alleys of sunny Los Angeles.
